  1. This is a working MicroPhone II modem driver. It works with any
  2. Hayes compatible modem (300-2400 baud). Additionally, it imple-
  3. ments the following features:
  4.  
  5. o   logging the service, phone number called, and time of call
  6.     when a service is dialed. This is true regardless of whether
  7.       a script, or the menu dial command was used.
  8.  
  9. o   logging the time the call was ended, and the duration of the
  10.     call whenever the menu, or script, hangup command is issued.

  12. NOTE:
  13. =====
  14.     If you dial a service, or hangup on a service by some means
  15.         other than using the menu commands, or script commands, then
  16.         there is NO WAY that the modem driver can record the event.
  17.         This means that if a service hangups, or the connection is
  18.         lost, you still need to issue a hangup command to record the
  19.         end of the call.
  20.         
  21.         Prehaps some more enterprising individual will find a way to
  22.         get around this. Since this is meant to illustrate modem
  23.         drivers, not be a 'industrial strength' one, I left this
  24.         problem for someone else to solve. <grin>
